WHO YOU'RE WORKING WITH
Hi, I'm Rich.
I’ve been a professional video editor for 35 years. I started my career in Los Angeles – originally having moved from London – working at a major voiceover agency before moving into post-production. From there, I spent years cutting theatrical film trailers at one of Hollywood’s most respected trailer houses, then moved into music and entertainment, founding my own editorial company, RGB Edit Inc., in 2004.
Over 12 years running RGB Edit., I edited 200+ promotional assets for Capitol Records, Virgin, EMI, Disney, Warner Bros., and Universal – working on campaigns for artists including Coldplay, Katy Perry, Seal, Janet Jackson, and Metallica. I then led the editorial department on a 26-episode animated series for ABCmouse, before spending several years as an Assistant Editor on network television – most recently on S.W.A.T. for Sony/CBS across Seasons 6, 7, and 8.
That career arc taught me something most video coaches and consultants never learn – what makes any piece of content land, at any length, in any format, is story. Pacing. Knowing which moment
matters and why. Those instincts don’t turn off when the format gets shorter or the subject gets closer to camera.

Do I need any experience with video or technology?
None at all – that’s the whole point. I handle everything technical from start to finish. You just show up and be yourself. The studio setup process is specifically designed to make recording feel natural and easy from day one.
What equipment do I need to buy?
After our first call I’ll send you a custom Amazon gear list tailored to your space and budget. Most clients spend between $100-500 on equipment. Everything is carefully selected for quality, ease of use, and value for money.
How does the virtual studio setup work?
We do everything over Zoom. I’ll guide you through optimising your space, positioning your camera, setting up your lighting, and configuring your audio – live together until everything looks and sounds professional. Most clients are amazed at the transformation.
What if I don't like being on camera?
Most of my clients feel exactly this way before we start. The studio setup and coaching process is specifically designed to build your confidence — by the time we record you’ll feel completely at ease. Looking and sounding great on camera makes an enormous difference to how you feel about being on camera.
How long does the whole process take?
